I started this….
… I don’t like the blue with the black ink… I don’t know why I chose it. Well I do, because I didn’t want to use ivory or navy… and I need three of the same thread. (I need to buy more thread!)
BUT I’m planning to dropper some gold in between the embroidery where the black is, which I think will look cool. And one of the rows will be in orange.
It definitely took more than half an hour, but I did it whilst on my No Rules Textiles society zoom so all good. I think it will be ok when finished but it’s a bit slow.
I have this ground to do something else with. I was going to couch the nylon strings but let’s see. Something quicker for sure.
And I painted this piece from Day One that showed me I definitely don’t want to paint the one from Day Two.
